Description:
We will then take the short drove to the new Haskayne Legacy Park and hike the park loop followed by a sojourn into the adjacent Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park for a total 8 - 10 km easy urban'ish' hike along the Bow River and through the scenic grasslands with a few stunning views of the distant Rocky Mountains! Bring snacks or lunch, comfortable walking shoes, and an extra layer.
Let's enjoy a beautiful wander through our stunning nearby nature and plan to be back to Edworthy no later than 1 or 2 pm.
• Events are subject to cancellation or change on short notice due to inclement weather and forest fires.
• Carpooling: Use at your own discretion and what you are comfortable with.
• Washrooms may not be available - please be prepared to pack out what you bring in, such as
Toilet paper, etc.
• Please make yourself aware of the risks in participating in this sort of event and decide
accordingly.
• Don`t forget the usual items; bear spray, proper clothing, water, food, equipment and first aid kit.
• Trip participants are asked to provide their cell contact information and emergency contact
information to the trip coordinator, prior to, due to the 'meet at trail head' requirement.
• Please do not sign up if you are experiencing any flu like, cold, or Covid19 symptoms.

Travel Distance: 23 Kilometers One Way / 25 Minutes
Difficulty Level: Easy
Carpooling / Rendezvous Point: North Edworthy Park Lot, look for the White BMW X3. Please arrive 15 minutes before (8:45 a.m.), so carpooling arrangements can be made as we will be leaving at 9:00 a.m. sharp.
Carpooling Expense: Carpooling fee to the Driver from each passenger, $5.00.
From Edworthy parking lot we will head west to Stony Trail North, Crowchild Trail West, 1st left after Bearspaw Road lights onto Woodland Road South (RR31) to Haskayne Legacy Park parking lot.
